Lenin in Enschede
No, communism didn't conquer my city of birth Enschede this Christmas, this statue is part of an exhibition about the former German Democratic Republic. After visiting the Twentse Welle, museum for natural-historical and cultural-historical collections, just before sunset I observed the red-orange glow of the sky reflecting in the windows of the museum entrance and the Lenin statue in front of it.

This statue is part of the exhibition about life in the former East German Republic, which I visited together with my brother.
